Sam K. Music

Sam has been playing and entertaining professionally since he was an exchange student in Germany in 2011. He started playing the German bar scene and by the end of the year was a regular at 4 bars every week.

He founded the Captain's Savvy Singalong Crew in 2013 and continues to lead this project with his wife Aoi and close friend Becky Booth. They have performed at dozens of conventions since and continue to be a favorite in the Los Angeles anime scene.

​

Recently he has also founded the coffee shop trio "Morrison Drive" with Aoi and close friend Ashleigh Portanova. This act is well equipped to play small venues and delight audiences with their nostalgic 90s acoustic grooves and tight harmonies. They are available to hire for a wide variety of occasions. As a German speaker himself it would only be natural that Sam would find himself in the Polka scene. He also fronts a traditional German Folk/Pop Rock group called "Sam and the Sour Krauts" They perform regularly in Newbury Park at Julie's Alps and are a raucous crowd favorite.
